Neuromuscular Therapy
Neuromuscular therapy is a system of massage techniques that uses a holistic approach towards healing, emphasizing and stimulating the body's natural ability to heal itself. Neuromuscular therapy also enhances the function of joints and muscles, and accelerates the overall healing process by facilitating the release of trigger points.
Neuromuscular Therapy
Trigger points are contracted tissue & nerve bundles that are located along a nerve pathway in your muscles. These points actually block the nerve energy from flowing through your connective tissue causing a variety of discomforts, dysfunctions and illnesses. In our session, I apply pressure to these specific points and lengthen them, releasing any blockages and restoring proper function to the area of complaints. Move free, pain free is the goal!
Cupping add on
Cupping increases blood circulation to the area where the cups are placed. This may relieve muscle tension, which can improve overall blood flow and promote cell repair. It may also help form new connective tissues and create new blood vessels in the tissue to help ease the aches and pain. Great add on to the session!
